The Procurement Supply and Parts Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement supply and purchasing planning processes for automotive parts. They ensure efficient inventory management to meet the demands and requirements of dealers in the Mexican market. The role involves collaborating with OEMs Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers for both national and international purchases analyzing sales history and market trends for decisionmaking and working closely with sales marketing and operations teams to ensure an efficient supply chain. Additionally the Specialist participates in the implementation of an ERP system working with suppliers and collecting demandrelated information.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on procurement and parts supply
- Solid knowledge of inventory management and the ability to analyze demand and sales projections
- Experience in direct purchasing from Mexico and collaboration with OEMs Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience in national and international procurement including understanding of import treaties and EcoTerms
- Advanced spreadsheet skills including pivot tables and macros
- Experience in demand planning and datadriven supply strategies

Bachelor's degree in Education, Automotive Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus. 3+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in the automotive industry.
