Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of industrial experience in sectors such as general manufacturing chemical refinery or as a consultant to industry.
Demonstrated experience in obtaining environmental permits and managing compliance with air water and waste regulations.
Proficient in researching and interpreting environmental regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with field teams and regulatory agencies.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to environmental management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in environmental engineering.
Essential Duties
Develop plan and coordinate activities related to air emissions water use and discharges waste material generation and disposal and regulatory agency communication.
Identify solve or alleviate environmental programs at various facilities.
Apply for permits related to air water and waste management.
Complete and submit EPA forms and other regulatory documents.
Research and stay uptodate on environmental regulations and their impact on projects.
Conduct environmental audits and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with field teams to address and resolve environmental concerns offering solutions and support.
Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and a solutionsoriented approach to environmental challenges.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
