Are You Ready to Lead Technological Innovation at Greenely

Greenely is on a mission to transform the energy industry and were looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive our technological advancements. As the CTO you will play a crucial role in advancing sustainable energy solutions driving innovation and shaping the future of energy.

Role Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as the technology leader for Greenely overseeing all technological aspects of the company as it scales. The CTO will be part of the management team and work closely with Business Product and Tech teams to establish a vision for the companys technology framework and spearhead its execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic oversight and direction for our technology roadmap ensuring it aligns seamlessly with Greenelys business objectives.

  • Team Management: Lead manage and mentor our technology team including backend developers architects and QA engineers. Youll be responsible for structuring the organization and overseeing our hiring needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other business leaders to identify opportunities for technological innovations that can provide immense business value.

  • Developer Experience and Culture: Build and sustain a highperformance culture fostering an environment that prioritizes teamwork accountability and a remarkable developer experience.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure a robust scalable and secure architecture and systems including contingency planning and data protection.

  • Research and Development: Keep a keen eye on emerging technologies assessing their relevance and potential value to the company.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive Backend Development Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in backend development with a preference for experience in Python.

  • Proven Leadership: Previous leadership roles as a CTO or Senior Engineering Manager.

  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technological concepts clearly.

  • Initiative and Drive: A proven ability to take charge and lead initiatives from concept through to implementation.

  • Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience in the energy sector is a bonus but not a requirement.
