You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are excited to offer an opportunity for an Apprentice Helpdesk Role within our dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP). This 14month apprenticeship program is tailored for individuals passionate about IT seeking to embark on a career in technology support. The apprenticeship will culminate in a recognised industry qualification with the potential for a continued career path within our company.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy building and supporting computers whether for family friends or as part of a home lab project. We are looking for enthusiasm and a genuine interest in IT rather than formal experience or qualifications.
The program will last approximately 14 months combining handson experience with structured learning.
Gain a recognised industry qualification providing a solid foundation for a career in IT support.
Engage in practical realworld IT support tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Opportunity to transition into a fulltime role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Provide firstlevel support under supervision addressing basic software and hardware queries.
Assist in logging and managing support tickets.
Learn to effectively communicate technical solutions to nontechnical users.
Support the team in daily IT operations and maintenance tasks.
Participate in training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship curriculum.
A passion for IT demonstrated through activities like building and supporting computers for family and friends or managing a home lab.
Strong desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
Good problemsolving abilities and a customercentric mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The apprenticeship requires working 5 days a week at our office in Falmer.
No homeworking option available; this role is officebased to maximise learning and handson experience.
