Job Description

Accountabilities: • Provision of strategic analysis to clearly define a comprehensive Category plan. • Develops cost saving plans for QR Group from budgeted amounts to reduce overall expenditure. • Responsible for definition of supply strategy for relevant product categories. • Develop cross functional strategic planning with colleagues to ensure QR leverages all benefits possible. • Review and input to department policies and processes to achieve best practice and maintain continuous improvement. • Ensure high service levels from the Procurement team for the QR Group including timelines, professionalism, communications and meeting expectations. • Setting and achieving Category KPIs, regularly assessing progress to keep delivery on track. • Review and endorse all documents submitted by staff for compliance and best practice, complying with the company strategy. • Responsible for high-level negotiation with key suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms and assisting team members when required. • Assists in developing the departmental and stakeholder budgets. • Manage quality control throughout project life cycle by maintaining delivery timelines, mitigating project risks, and act as a liaison with all project stakeholders to ensure effective change management. • Provide comprehensive summaries and data for reporting activities on spend, timelines and the current operational state. • Run, review and action performance reports on assigned Categories to improve ways of working, and deliverables. • Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. • Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed. Qualifications About you You will possess: • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience. • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or related field. • Procurement, Finance or Contracts relevant experience • Procurement Management. • Fluent command of English language. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to influence people with strong negotiations skills. • Numeracy and the ability to present data clearly and accurately. • Developed people management skills, for subordinates, colleagues and superiors. • Contractual and Financial acumen. • Planning, Problem Solving and decision-making abilities. • Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
