Job Description
- To organise and prioritise own daily workload with supervision and within the scope of the role
- To plan and organise a designated noncomplex caseload of patients and own professional activities under the supervision of a senior qualified therapist.
- To work with patients to short and long term therapy and Lymphoedema goals.
- To deliver a virtual and face to face classes safely and effectively taking into account the individual needs of the patients in the group
- To monitor evaluate and modify treatment interventions to measure progress and ensure effectiveness.
Requirements
To assist the Lymphoedema Specialists in the provision of Complex Lymphoedema Therapy Teach Simple Lymph Drainage Skin care and compression garment application Check fit of compression garments Measure and record limb volume Apply prescribed (by Lymphoedema Specialists) courses of Multilayer lymphoedema bandaging to patients Provide prescribed intermittent pneumatic compression To provide prescribed intermittent pneumatic compression To measure limbs for custom hosiery and off the shelf hosiery following guidelines
