Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall transition of systems and infrastructure from the seller to Viatris landscape. They represent the IT DMO and are responsible for coordinating the activities of project managers from the various IT functions the buyer and the business. They understand document and manage key dependencies across the various functions manage risks & mitigation plans track decisions needed & made as well as ensure escalated issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing stakeholder expectations
Driving program execution to on time delivery
Overseeing creation of project charters
Representing status to C level executives
Managing weekly status meetings with Project Managers
Creating detailed action plans
Managing risks & issues
Required skills
Experience working in Pharma and Life Science domain.
CSuite presence and drive
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to speak clearly
Effectively express ideas and organize and report in a simple and concise manner
Experience managing large programs
Ability to effectively hold team members accountable for status deliverables and timely escalation of blockers
Ability to influence teams to deliver on goals
Ability to roll up their sleeves to accomplish objectives in project management delivery
Successful track record of managing vendors and team members that are onsite hybrid offshore or remote
Collaboration
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and trust with IT and business partners
Work with cross functional teams to deliver on interdependencies and mitigate risk
Qualifications Biopharmaceutical or Biotechnology experience preferred
