About the Role
Edge Tutor International is looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team. As HR Specialist you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources functions including recruitment onboarding employee relations and compliance. The ideal candidate should have 34 years of HR experience strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping create a positive and productive work environment for our team members.
What youll do
Recruitment:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Source screen and interview candidates to identify the best talent for open positions.
Manage the endtoend recruitment process including job postings applicant tracking and interview coordination.
Conduct reference checks and coordinate preemployment assessments as needed.
Onboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Prepare and distribute new hire orientation materials.
Assist in the development and delivery of onboarding training.
Employee Relations:
Provide support to employees on HRrelated inquiries and issues.
Maintain and update employee records ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Assist in the resolution of employee conflicts and issues in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Compliance:
Stay uptodate with labor laws and regulations to ensure the companys compliance.
Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with the HR Manager to implement and enforce HR policies.
Data Management:
Maintain and update HR databases and records.
Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field.
23 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of HR best practices and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines is a plus.
Positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
