Job Description
Role: Azure Devops Engineer
Total Experience: 5 to 9 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Location: Bangalore
We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our DevOps team with experience building and scaling services in a cloud environment specifically Microsoft Azure cloud. You ll be working for a very important and high visibility client establishing onpremises DevOps practices on Azure for a highend AI project. Because of existing infrastructure data security or cost requirements the best practices must be tailored fitting the project and client s stringent requirements. You will work closely with the technical lead to identify and establish DevOps requirements along with tailored AI Model repository building and AI model serving.
You will establish configuration management automate the client s infrastructure implement continuous integration and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system and enhancements/adjustment to the AI models.
You will help us build scalable efficient cloud infrastructure. You ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly you ll build our CI pipeline and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Responsibilities
- Manage and Improve CI/CD tooling/ Implement and own the CI pipeline.
- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain highly available systems.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.

- Git version control system experience is a plus.
- Require a bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field;
- 5 years experience working in Automation and DevOps; 2 years Experience in AI / ML domain.
- Expert skills with PowerShell scripting and reading/analyzing Web technologies such as JSON HTML JavaScript XML jQuery etc;
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
- Strong experience in configuring maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft based production systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud automation and infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Cloud and Automation.
- Ability to connect onpremises technology to Cloud Offerings
Requirements
Managing production infrastructure.
Strong handson experience and knowledge of Azure in the following areas

1. Automating Building of Application code using Build Pipeline in Azure DevOps (formerly TFS);
2. Troubleshoot Applications and Infrastructure resources hosted in Azure Databricks.
3. Implement Infrastructure as Code for Cloud using Automation Tools like ServiceNow.
4. Support all different Cloud Resources in Azure.
5. Automating Deployment of Application Code using tools Like Octopus Deploy.
6. Work in an Agile environment to support individuals on proper DevOps practices.
7. Manage and support customer environments in Microsoft Azure cloud.
8. Manage the full release process.
9. Consult client side technical team on technical aspects of installation sizing scaling.
10. Creating documentation to specify the backend features of the app under development.
11. Analyzing the technologies in use to plan possible improvements and upgrades.
12. Participating in code development app deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
13. Reviewing and validating code delivered by programmers.
14. Taking part in project planning to share knowledge about system risks infrastructure capabilities and costvsrevenue examples.
15. Providing inputs for operation requirements regarding each release.
16. Identifying better testing practices to minimize errors during deployments.
17. Setting up automated updates to be deployed into production via configuration management software.
18. Applying automation to processes wherever possible.
19. Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to avoid bottlenecks in the production environment.
20. Developing recommendations on how to boost performance with possible modifications and alternative solutions.
21. Assisting in the operative management of staff according to the bestinclass DevOps practices.
22. Mentoring team members when utilizing continuous CD/CI capabilities of the Azure DevOps platform.
23. Monitoring customer experience through corresponding metrics and indicators.
This Azure DevOps engineer role requires a combination of technical and management responsibilities. To successfully wear a technician hat and managerial shoes simultaneously such a person should have excellent communication skills. Nothing but continuous clients side communication will help achieve the collaborative way of doing things in the current project using Azure DevOps skills. This is the highest requirement for this candidate.
