Job Description
- To assist in the provision of a safe efficient and highquality aseptic pharmacyservice to the Trust s patients.
- To assist in the provision of a safe efficient and highquality dispensing service ofsupportive medication.
- To actively encourage adherence to all procedures relating to aseptic services andGood Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- To have an excellent working knowledge of all procedures guidelines and legislation.
- To participate in the writing review and update of Standard Operating Procedures and otherQuality Assurance (QA) documentation.
- To liaise with pharmacists production staff and ward staff daily to help regulateand manage workflow efficiently.Participate in Pharmacy Team meetings as required.
Requirements
To assist and supervise to a high quality the provision of a chemotherapy compounding service and ensure the safe accurate provision of supportive medication. To support the roles of and work under the supervision of the Chief Technician and accountable Pharmacist.
