QA Software Support Engineer

About the Department

We are currently seeking a dedicated Software Support Engineer to become an integral part of our Quality Assurance team which operates within the larger Development Department. Our team is comprised of around 10 testing engineers and specialists in 3rd line support.

Role Objective

In this role you will take on the responsibility of investigating diagnosing and resolving complex issues with our Duett Software promptly and accurately. Adherence to standard procedures and effective communication regarding issue status are key components of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of reported issues generate bug reports for the development team and execute SQL scripts to correct data anomalies.
• Monitor and manage the progression of 3rd line issues until they are fully resolved.
• Recognize and report on recurring trends to improve system performance.
• Maintain detailed records of activities and issue resolution steps.
• Collaborate with 2nd Line support and development teams to facilitate the resolution of reported issues and provide expert advice on troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Stay informed about the latest updates and advancements in our product offerings.

Your Experience

We are on the search for a candidate with a solid foundation in software product development and support. Heres what would make you a great fit:

• Experience in a software support or development role.
• A technical background with an understanding of software systems.
• A supportive mindset ready to assist and guide users.
• Experience in scripting and SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies particularly .NET.
• Experience with a programming language preferably C#.
• Fluent in Norwegian with English as a professional working language.
• A serviceoriented approach to problemsolving.
• A solutionfocused individual who can navigate complex challenges
• Experience with accounting systems would be a plus.
