You will have the opportunity to join a team of passionate and dynamic powerhouses who are building a new way of managing access to startup capital.

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join the team and help drive innovation and efficiency in their Azure-based cloud infrastructure, working with the software engineering team on critical release and production lifecycles as the product continues to scale. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, as well as deploying and managing applications using ArgoCD and Kubernetes.

The tech team is currently based in Brighton, with a growing team in London. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation and play a key role in driving our future goals. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving complex problems.

What youll do:

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Oversee the whole software release cycle from code commit to production whilst striving to always look for gaps and improvements.
• Collaboration with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the platform.
• Work amongst the Platform team to offer expertise in areas such as Azure Front Door, Storage, SQL, Azure AD and general cloud governance/security.
• Implementation and maintenance of infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Monitoring and optimisation of system performance using Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Log Analytics.

Who you are:

• Strong familiarity using Terraform, preferably in Azure.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and related technologies, with experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
• Experience with ArgoCD, including setting up and configuring ArgoCD for continuous delivery of applications.
• Experience in building and securing containers, including knowledge of best practices for container security and experience implementing security controls for containerised applications.
• Experience of building .NET and Angular applications.
• Expertise with source code repositories and tools, particularly Git
• Strong experience with a scripting language, including PowerShell
• Experience or understanding of using and deploying Service Mesh technologies such as Istio.
