Title : Electrical Engineer
Location: Peoria IL
Duration: Full time
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the various engineering teams to define requirements identifying gaps and developing multigenerational project plans (MGPP) that align the product development with the customer and business needs.
- Developing innovative solutions for stationary and mobile charging and accompanying site optimization.
- Working closely with both internal and external suppliers to realize the most competitive solutions.
- Providing technical oversight and expertise to validation testing activities for both physical and simulated testing
- Providing technical oversight and expertise to the quality and validation team providing solutions to problems discovered throughout the development process as well as post production
- Validating process improvements defining and implementing a standardized testing database containing predefined validation test plans and testing process
- Competitive benchmarking and staying current on industry trends and needs as well as maximizing benefits from available incentives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electronics or other relevant discipline
- 5 years of relevant experience in Chargers or Charging Solutions
- 15 years of relevant engineering experience in any of the following fields: power systems power electronics control systems battery management or electrification
- Experience through two new product development cycles
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multiple level organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering (MS or PhD)
- 10 years of relevant experience in Chargers or Charging Solutions
- Direct application experience in charging electric vehicles or machines
- Demonstrated ability in setting product and technology strategies
- Systems engineering experience and cascading requirements to partner groups both internal and external
