Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist to join our team in Bardawan District West Bengal for our Captive Power Plant (CPP). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of handson experience in the same field and position with a strong background in chemical processes and operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize chemical processes within the Captive Power Plant to ensure efficiency productivity and quality standards are met.
   

2. Quality Control: Implement and manage quality control procedures to maintain product specifications and compliance with regulatory standards.
   

3. Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and techniques to interpret data troubleshoot issues and improve overall plant performance.
   

4. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of chemists and laboratory technicians fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
   

5. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all chemical processes adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Implement measures to mitigate risks and hazards.
   

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experiments processes and results. Prepare reports for management review.
   

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering production and quality assurance to achieve common goals and resolve challenges.
   

8. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends advancements and best practices. Implement new technologies and methodologies for process improvement.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or related field.
   
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior chemist role within a Captive Power Plant environment.
   
3. Strong understanding of chemical processes reactor design and optimization techniques.
   
4. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
   
5. Leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.
   
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
   
7. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
