QA Technical Tester

About the Department

The Quality Assurance (QA) team is a branch of the Development Department comprising around 10 testing engineers and specialists in thirdlevel support.

Role Objective

As a Technical Tester your role is to meet the development teams requirements for automated testing of new and updated features. Youll also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of these automated tests. Additionally we expect you to actively engage in at least one area of nonfunctional testing such as performance or stress testing.

Key Duties

• Create and automate test cases
• Ensure the quality of these automated tests
• Analyze and resolve issues with automated tests
• Manage the framework for running automated tests
• Take on a key role in nonfunctional testing areas with a focus on performance and stress testing

Your Profile

You are methodical analytical and confident in making and owning your decisions. You have a passion for keeping up with the latest trends in testing and software development. Teamwork is something you value highly and excel in. You are an effective communicator in English both verbally and in writing. Norwegian language skills are a plus but not essential.

Your Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in software development and delivery
• ISTQB certification or similar with a preference for Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CTTAE)
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools
• Proficiency with tools like Cypress Playwright Protractor Jasmine Mocha Selenium Cucumber JMeter Gatling Postman etc.
• Handson experience with test automation

It is a clear advantage if you also have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Azure pipelines for automated test execution and reporting
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with various types of nonfunctional testing (e.g. security performance stress usability)
