Job Description
- Utilize AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D drawings of piping layouts isometric drawings and detailed schematics.
- Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) based on project requirements.
- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry codes standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into designs.
- Conduct reviews of designs to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with project requirements
- Maintain accurate and organized design documentation including drawings specifications and other relevant records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Stay informed about updates and new features in design software
Requirements
A degree or diploma in engineering preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Piping Designer with a strong focus on using AutoCAD for design.
Proficient in AutoCAD familiarity with other relevant design software strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
