SAP Functional Consultant PPQM

Responsibilities :

• Expertise in Database designs, implementation, Support, DB & Cluster Installation on single/multi nodes on various platforms (Windows/Linux)
• Expertise in Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, SOA Suite, SSO, IDM, EPM, ODI, Content Management and BI implementations etc.
• Extensive familiarity with Tuning Tools like Oracle Enterprise Managers (OEMs), Oracle cost optimizer, SQL analyzer, top session, top SQL, Performance Manager, etc., Stats pack, TOAD. For SQL tuning using Explain plan, TKPROF, SQL_TRACE, Optimizer modes, using Optimizer hints, Gathering statistics, Stats pack etc.
• Create database maintenance plans, including updating statistics, re indexing, structure modifications, Capacity plans, and index analysis.
• Security User Management, Privileges, Roles, Auditing, Profiling, Authentication, cryptography etc.
• Using Oracle Advanced Replication feature to set up multi-master replication, dealt with conflict resolution and performance issues.
• Responsible for configuring database memory structure, managing storage allocation, User accounts, DB roles and privileges, DB operations and security maintenance.
• Responsible for monitoring and estimating the size of the database & growth, and configuring the database accordingly
• Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, security and database issues in a critical production environment
• Responsible for Load and Performance testing of the database servers and application servers, analysis and documentation of results
• Planning the Automation of Database operations using various Tools & Utilities etc.
• Responsible for planning, implementing and managing the Database integration with various products and projects across organization.
• Ability to create advanced formulas and dynamic dashboards
• Advanced understanding of relational databases required, with knowledge of IBM DB2 and C2E preferred
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Create data quality metrics and reports for internal teams

Qualification/ Education :

• BS/BCA/MCA in Computers Science or related subject
• OCA, OCP, MCSE, CCNA, MS-SQL Server certifications is a must
• Strong knowledge of all Windows OS/Unix/Linux versions
• Strong OS/Database Clusters & VMWare, Storage + Backup Solutions etc.
• Strong understanding of Networking, Security and Sys Admin Tasks
• Must have done real-time Implementation of Oracle/SQL Server Databases along with Clusters and E-Business Suites on Multi Node Environments.

Experience :

• 10 + years experience in similar position.
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
• Implementation/GO Live and Support Experience of various databases, clusters and applications in a real time environment.
• Must have strong experience on Core Database, RAC, ASM and SQL Servers with Clusters, Oracle EBS, and Forms/Reports etc.
• In-depth knowledge of EBS R12 and Database 11g & 12c environments.
• Must have experience in Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, SOA Suite, SSO, IDM, EPM, ODI, Content Management and BI implementations etc.
