The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to support the daytoday maintenance repair and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot repair and contribute to the uninterrupted operation of all process and nonprocess equipment and utilities Schedule execute and document all preventive maintenance for said utilities/equipment Level and calibrate mechanical printers Execute all preventive maintenance including scheduling with internal stakeholders Troubleshoot and repair equipment and components BMS & CMS monitoring and alarm response Ensure efficient communication with team members Coordinate daily documentation logs alarm reports work orders and cleaning logs Evaluate SOPs and Emergency Procedures Plan develop implement and evaluate small projects Perform other assignments as directed by manager or lead technician Minimum Job Qualifications:
Associates degree: Electrical Mechanical (Chemical or Material Science) or ElectroMechanical engineering or equivalent technical or trade school required 1 to 3 years relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Possess an understanding of HVAC systems & controls plumbing electrical process piping and have proficiency in at least one trade
- Have analytical problemsolving skills to be able to identify the root cause of difficult technical and nontechnical problems be capable of analyzing alternate approaches and developing practical solutions to solve complex technical and nontechnical problems
- 6S program support
- Machine shop knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic leveling and calibrating xy table is preferred
- General knowledge of electrical and plumbing is helpful
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people is essential
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Must display a customeroriented attitude
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
