About the position as Regional Manager:

As a Regional Manager you will have overall responsibility for the operations in the terminals within the region (4 to 7 terminals). You are responsible for all the operations including quality efficiency budget safety people and working environment. The responsibilities consist of making sure that the daily operations are working smoothly in all aspects as well as combining this with a strategic and analytical approach to make more efficient workflows in the first and middlemile operations. You will lead motivate and inspire a diverse team of terminal managers. This position reports into the Head of First and Middle mile operations.

What does a day in the terminal look likeThe daily operation consists of parcels arriving at our terminals during the morning which must be sorted and delivered the same evening in the region but also parcels that must be relocated and sent to other nearby cities. During the evening the work involves securing the loading of the evenings deliveries receiving line haul and taking care of sorting.

What do you bring to the table

• A minimum of 37 years of relevant work experience in the logistics sector or similar with a proven track record in people management;

• Strong leadership and people skills;

• Great communication skills fluency in both English and Dutch;

• Familiarity with relevant technology and software in the logistics industry;

• Drivers licence B.

Its considered a plus if you have a truck licence CDrivers licence and/or education in logistics/production/flow optimization or equivalent.
