Aufgaben

Building developing and enabling high performing teams who build awesome products is the main responsibility for our Engineering Managers. This is the entry position in our Engineering Management Career Path and one possible follow up position for Senior Engineers who want to move into Management. This position reports to a Head of Product Engineering.

• You have found your passion in software development but you believe you might enjoy building the right team removing roadblocks helping others creating transparency and alignment even more than being an individual contributor
• You will be responsible for the engineers of one product team in a youbuildityourunit environment
• You will work alongside your team and still be very hands on
• You are responsible for advancing your team members skills and careers and inspiring them through purpose
• You make sure that we leverage (new) technology within our product teams to build products customers love and work for the business
• Contribute to our guidelines policies standards etc. to improve how we work

Profil

Your profile this is what we expect from you

• You have worked in crossfunctional product teams / organizations and bring a vast experience in engineering of scalable web applications and databases in modern environments
• You possess a strong sense of ownership passion and drive which brings energy to the room
• Your communication skills are on point
• You have a high motivation to learn and grow into people management
• You are a natural gotoperson within your organization by mentoring other engineers and helping them to grow and succeed
• You are willing to go the extra mile to make your team successful you give honest feedback able to discuss commit and execute
• You have excellent written and spoken English skills
