Job Description

The Human Resources Manager plans coordinates and directs the administrative functions of the company. They oversee the recruiting interviewing and hiring of new staff; process biweekly & monthly payroll and manage the benefit enrollment for staff. They serve as subject matter experts for the HRIS.

Essential functions

Compiles and submits the biweekly & monthly payrolls and all related tasks.

Supervises the office and all the employee needs including ordering supplies and working with third party vendors for necessary repairs.

Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs recruiting retention and succession planning.

Manages the talent acquisition process which may include recruitment interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants particularly for managerial exempt and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Oversees employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.

Serve as Administrator of HRIS platform making sure employee information is uptodate and accurate. Moderate any software upgrade notices and inform staff of upcoming changes.

Manage new hire process including submitting background check requests; entering new hire in HRIS; and work with department leaders to schedule onboarding.

Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 57 years of experience working in a related role.

Experience with HR systems

Handson approach with strong attention to detail problem solving skills and an understanding of the overall business operations.

Well organized with the ability to adapt to changing requirements laws or company procedures.

Strong communication skills and experience with Word Excel and Gmail

Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate new programs trainings etc.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position the employee is typically exposed to a standard interior office environment The employee is required to listen and respond to multiple team members. The majority of this position is sitting a desk using a computer. No heavy lifting is required.
