Metrology Technician Lead

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Metrology Technician Lead to manage calibration and measurement processes in our facilities. The role responsibilities include maintaining calibrating and servicing measurement equipment ensuring compliance with quality standards and leading a team of Technicians. An effective Metrology Technician Lead will exhibit strong leadership skills and possess a broad knowledge of metrology and calibration procedures.

What youll do:

Oversee and manage all metrology operations.
Coordinate and perform regular calibration of measuring equipment.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure measurement processes are reliable and precise.
Establish and implement SOPs for measuring and calibration activities.
Train technicians on measurement and calibration techniques.
Ensure compliance with ISO and other quality standards.
Manage and maintain equipment inspection logs and records.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Other duties as assigned.

What is required:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certified Calibration Technician or equivalent vocational training.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Metrology Technician.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of calibration principles and practices.
Experience in an ISOcertified environment.
Detailoriented and with a high level of accuracy.
