Academic Counsellor

• You re responsible for providing educational guidance and assistance for students by planning schedules recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions for different types of students.
  
• Providing support through the admission process till the student gets the visa.
  
• Promoting IELTS courses to students and guiding them to study abroad destinations.
  
• Actively involved in promoting the company universities and participating in Educational fairs.
  
• Ensure that proper counseling and course information are briefed to students over the phone and convert the inquiry into registration
  
• Follow up with students for any enquiries through direct meetings live chat phone calls and emails.
  
• You will have to generate leads through references and other sources.
  
• Calling all the Leads daily and converting the prospective leads into admissions.
  
• Collecting all necessary documents of students and uploading in the CRM system
  
• Maintaining all data related to students and Preparing reports for tracking information about the students.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling students or having prior sales experience in Education Technology or Direct Sales
  
• Should be able to demonstrate the products/courses to students.
  
• The candidate should have excellent English Speaking Reading Listening and writing skills.
  
• Skilled in counseling and interpersonal relationships able to listen able to be directive and nondirective able to demonstrate patience and tolerance positive and committed
  
• Should be able to persuade others.
  
• Prior Experience in organizing job fairs or willingness to participate in Education related fairs and events.
  
• A techsavvy person with prior experience in making PowerPoint presentations Preparing reports on MS Excel and good typing skills.
