Job Description
Job Title: Surveyor
Location: Kolkata
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Education: Bachelors Degree in Surveying
Responsibilities:
1. Property Boundary Measurement:
Conduct precise measurements to determine property boundaries.
Ensure accurate mapping and documentation of land dimensions.
2. Verification with Mouza Map:
Validate field measurements against Mouza Map as per RS (Revisional Settlement) and LRA (Land Reform Act) standards.
Identify and rectify any discrepancies found during the comparison.
3. Map Sketching and Drawing:
Create detailed sketch maps and drawing maps based on survey data.
Provide clear and accurate representations of surveyed areas.
4. Physical Land Boundary Measurement:
Perform physical measurements to determine land boundaries with precision.
Utilize surveying equipment and tools effectively.
5. Knowledge of Scales:
Demonstrate proficiency in using various scales including Diagonal Scale Foot Scale and Link Scale.
Apply appropriate scale conversions for accurate measurements.
6. AutoCAD Proficiency:
Utilize AutoCAD software for mapping drafting and creating survey plans.
Ensure that survey data is accurately integrated into AutoCAD drawings.
7. Unit Conversion:
Convert measurements from foot to link meter and other relevant units as needed.
Maintain consistency and accuracy in unit conversions.
8. Boundary Line Determination:
Determine and demarcate boundary lines based on precise measurements and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
9. Plot Map Preparation:
Prepare detailed plot maps for development projects.
Collaborate with project teams to align surveying activities with project goals.

Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
