We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Consultant to join our dynamic team The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert financial advice and support to our clients ensuring efficient management of their payables and receivables processes
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Manage the endtoend accounts payable process including invoice processing coding and approval workflows
- Conduct regular reviews of vendor accounts reconciling discrepancies and resolving payment issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Accounts Receivable
- Oversee the accounts receivable function including invoicing collections and cash application
- Monitor customer accounts aging reports and work to minimize outstanding receivables
- Collaborate with sales and client teams to resolve billing and paymentrelated inquiries
- Implement and maintain credit control policies to mitigate credit risk
Financial Analysis
- Perform financial analysis related to payables and receivables identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present reports to management regarding the financial health of clients payables and receivables
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards regulations and internal policies
- Assist clients in preparing for audits and provide necessary documentation
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their unique business requirements
- Provide proactive financial advice and solutions to optimize payables and receivables processes
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management preferably within a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial analysis and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
