Program Director - Massachusetts

Overview 

Computers People a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to digital inclusion is seeking a proactive and dynamic Program Director for our Massachusetts office This leadership position involves refurbishing computers managing a dedicated team of volunteers supervising our driver and overseeing the seamless coordination of computer pickups and dropoffs with our donors and clients As a key player in our mission you will also be responsible for maintaining our computer inventory and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources

After years this position will grow into a director of our three essential programs Computer Refurbishment Internet Access and Computer Skills Classes each managed by dedicated supervisors The Program Director will ensure the successful achievement of program goals organize budgets raise funding and report directly to the Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Computer Refurbishment Execute highquality computer refurbishment to provide reliable and accessible technology resources to those in need
  

• Volunteer Management Lead support and grow our passionate volunteer team fostering a positive and productive work environment
  

• Logistics Coordination Efficiently manage the logistics of computer pickups and dropoffs ensuring timely and professional interactions with our donors and clients Oversee a fulltime delivery driver
  

• Inventory Oversight Maintain accurate records and tracking of computer inventory ensuring that equipment is readily available for distribution
  

• Program Leadership
  

• Oversee three key programs Computer Refurbishment Internet Access and Computer Skills Classes
  

• Work closely with program supervisors to ensure each program is aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  

• Supervision and Collaboration
  

• Manage and support program supervisors Computer Donation Supervisor Internet Supervisor and Digital Classes Supervisor
  

• Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance the effectiveness of each program
  

• Goal Attainment
  

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful achievement of programspecific goals and targets
  

• Regularly assess program performance and identify areas for improvement
  

• Budget Management
  

• Organize and manage budgets for each program ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively
  

• Fundraising
  

• Take the lead in fundraising efforts for the New Jersey office collaborating with the Executive Director and other stakeholders to secure funding for program initiatives
  

• Reporting
  

• Provide regular and comprehensive reports to the Executive Director on program performance challenges and opportunities
  

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  

• Adept at computer refurbishment and related software
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Leadership experience or potential
  

• Commitment to our mission of digital inclusion and community support
  

• Willingness to play a pivotal role in building our Massachusetts operations and team
  

• Nonprofit experience is necessary
