The Role:

Senior Registrar or Registrar - Advanced Trainee, Emergency Department
This position is an opportunity to enhance your scope of practice, build on the core skills acquired during training and provides a significant opportunity to gain experience for Specialist Emergency Physician appointments both nationally and internationally. Aimed at a post-OSCE Advanced Trainee looking to consolidate consultant level skills in Emergency Medicine.

Registrar - Residential Aged Care District Assessment and Referral (RADAR) Service
Work across our Residential Aged Care District Assessments and Referral Service (RADAR) and Geriatric Emergency Department Intervention Service (GEDI).
Provide specialist acute geriatric care to frail older who present to the Emergency Department via a consultation shared-care model, or at the request of the general practitioner, in the residential aged care facility.

Registrar or Principal House Officer - Emergency Department
Gain broad experience through exposure to a high acuity case mix.

The Emergency Department provides immediate and emergency care for all categories of emergency attendances, adult and paediatric, including the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of undifferentiated acute illnesses, injuries, and behavioural disorders. It has the ability to provide high quality trauma care to medium and minor level trauma patients and capable of stabilising trauma patients until transfer.

Skills & Qualifications required:
As the Emergency Department provides services for both children and adult patients, training, experience or qualifications in both age groups is required.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
Ideally have current registration with AHPRA
