Job Role: Website Manager
This role is a replacement and the salary bracket is 35,000- 38,000. The team are looking for an experience website manager, who is also skilled at copywriting for web.
Location: Liverpool 2 days a week in office
Hours 35 hours per week (FTE)

Introduction to the role:
To maintain and develop the Hill Dickinson website, delivering continuous improvement and optimisation across content and functionality. Manage the website assistant, overseeing all internal digital service and support requests.
Introduction to the team:
You will be part of the CRM & digital team and will report directly to the Head of CRM. All members of the wider BD&M team are expected to support the work of the wider business development plans and other parts of the firm as needed.
Key responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the client website working closely with internal stakeholders and a 3rd party agency to maintain and develop website functionality & UX, optimising performance & evolving the site in-line with business & market needs
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the website in-line with business and market needs, developing and delivering the annual website development roadmap, on time, within budget.
  • Lead website projects from initial concept to launch, including stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Manage 3rd party agency relationships and platform providers delivering projects & client experience enhancements in line with agreed roadmaps.
  • Manage web content, including drafting new content, editing existing content, removing outdated content, and maximising content optimisation.
  • Responsible for all digital service and support requests from internal teams and ensuring all enquiries are actioned within agreed SLA s.
  • Drive SEO performance - monitoring and improving both on-site and off-site elements, delivering technical and content SEO improvements (with agency support)
  • Deliver robust UAT (testing) across all digital channels to ensure the successful execution of digital tactics and user experience updates.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical briefs and plans.
  • Champion UX, ensuring all outputs and developments are user first.
  • Act as web custodian, manage, maintain, and enforce all website permissions and processes.
  • Collaborate with the campaign manager to deliver campaign landing pages, ensuring optimised content, data capture and performance tracking are in place.
  • Collaborate with the business development and marketing team to maximise CTA s and both paid and organic traffic to the site.
  • Use of analytics and reporting tools including GA4 to produce reports & analyse digital channel performance, providing summaries and improvement recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the website assistant, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring structured appraisal and development plans.
  • Oversee the build and delivery of email newsletters, driving A/B testing, quality, and performance.
What we are looking for
Essential:
A minimum of three years website experience across development and CMS
Demonstrable web project management experience
Proficient with Google Analytics
Experience managing 3rd party agency relationships.
Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research and on page optimisation (delivered directly or with 3rd party agency support)
A strong understanding of UX principles including user journey mapping.
Excellent team working skills & ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Proactive and can-do attitude and approach
Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required.
Desirable (non-essential):
Experience using Jira or other project management tools.
Drupal CMS experience
Line management experience
