The role

As a DevOps Engineer at Solidicon you will be at the forefront of our infrastructure development and management playing a critical role in ensuring our gaming platforms success and growth

Virtualization techniques will be your bread and butter and youll possess a strong command over SQL databases and their integrations

Your daytoday responsibilities will involve designing deploying and managing robust infrastructures optimizing cost and performance Automation will be a key focus area you will be expected to drive initiatives that replace manual processes with automated solutions

Problemsolving will be a significant part of your role Whether its addressing infrastructure bottlenecks troubleshooting database issues or devising new strategies to enhance system performance your analytical skills will be crucial

Youll be joining a team of dynamic professionals who value collaboration and innovation Together youll work on projects that shape our current and future systems ensuring theyre both resilient and scalable

Primary Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management Play a pivotal role in designing deploying and maintaining our stateoftheart infrastructure ensuring the continuous and smooth operation of our gaming platform across various devices
• Cloud Expertise Utilize your understanding of major cloud platforms including Azure AWS and Google Cloud to optimize and scale our applications Ensure best practices are followed and drive infrastructure improvements based on the specific advantages of each platform
• Virtualization Leverage advanced virtualization techniques to create efficient scalable and manageable environments This will be central to achieving our goals of rapid deployment and high system availability
• SQL Management Oversee the integration optimization and security of SQL databases Ensure they effectively support our applications and are properly maintained
• Automation Initiatives Drive efforts to automate repetitive processes enhancing system efficiency and reducing manual overhead This includes everything from infrastructure deployment to database backups
• Problem Solving Act as a primary troubleshooter for infrastructurerelated challenges Use your analytical skills to diagnose issues find their root causes and implement robust solutions
• Set up and monitor network infrastructure health and traffic flow
• Analyze infrastructure performance and address any issues
• Developing and implementing disaster recovery and risk mitigation plans

Requirements

• Detailed understanding of computer and network architecture design and security
• Phenomenal analytical / problemsolving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional teamwork and communication/information sharing skills with a sense of responsibility attention to detail and proactive management as well as strong situational analysis and decisionmaking abilities
• The ability to work independently and with a team
• The ability to multitask and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities
• Have a flexible work mindset
