Job Description
Recommended post for a good Gardener & Housekeeper couple to look after everything associated with a beautiful property set in acres in the heart of the Cotswolds (near Stow on the Wold)
Employer is in occasional residence (approx weekends a year) but those weekends will be busy making sure all is ready fridges stocked fires made everything looking lovely with flower arrangements etc Family style cooking required and assisting principal when he is entertaining (prepping vegetables etc) Would best suit a housekeeper who is happy to follow recipes
The gardener to have good gardening knowledge to look after the mature garden which includes formal gardens and meadows must be happy using large machinary ride on mowers etc General garden and basic household maintenance work required calling in contractors when required
Newly renovated bed cottage with own garden provided as staff accommodation All costs covered day week/hrs working weekends when house occupied Regret not suitable for dependants Well behaved pets considered
Salary negotiable according to previous experience around k gross pa
