Position: Software Test Engineer

Location: Mossville, Illinois (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime/Contract Position

Job Description:-
Technical/Functional Skills-
Experience: 8+ Years

1. Competent to perform all testing and validation assignments without close supervision.
2. Hands-on experience on using tools like Canalyzer, Modsim (CAT V-bench experience is bonus)
3. Works with the engineering team to develop and execute complex test cases or scenarios which may involve multiple systems or business groups in multiple time zones
4. Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.
5. Performs integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that requires careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.
6. Help design and set up test hardware and test bench conditions to support test plans.
7. Experience in Object oriented programming languages like Java, JS or Python
8. Experience with behavior-driven development(BDD) frameworks preferably Web Driver IO
9. Experience using Azure DevOps
10. Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS
11. Experience in setting up test equipment & cabling.
12. Experience with industrial protocols like J1939 & Modbus
13. Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
