Today, Vital Voices has a staff of nearly 80 headquartered in Washington, DC. We ve recently been working to dramatically scale our impact in accordance with our bold vision. Summary
The Temporary Program Coordinator will work directly under the supervision and guidance of the VP of Issue Advocacy to plan and coordinate the Global Climate Convening, a partnership between Vital Voices and The Rockefeller Foundation. This project will bring together women leaders working on the human impact of the climate emergency by giving them a virtual forum in which they will develop priorities, create individual advocacy plans, draw up an action plan for governments to better engage women in climate negotiations. This position will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing communications between participants and VV staff, creating event materials, scheduling transportation and serving as a primary point of contact for participants. This position is based in Washington, DC with the option of a hybrid work schedule. We are not accepting remote candidates at this time.

Qualifications
This position is a part-time, non-exempt position. If and when it is safe to travel, domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required for the position.
The starting salary range for this position is $59,635 $72,888 based on experience and ability to have broad impact early. The schedule for this role is as follows:
