Java Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer /Developer with Telecom domain exp.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Contract

Role And Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge in End-to-End QA process
• Experience in Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Adhoc testing and Regression testing.
• Interaction with multiple stakeholders - Vendors, development teams, testing teams, and deployment teams etc
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with quick adaptation to new technology, methodologies, and systems.
• Development of QA Automation scripts/process automation to verify various microservices.
  
  Must Have:

• QA Automation experience Expertise in REST API Automation
• Languages - Good Knowledge in Java (Recommended Java8)
• Test Platforms/tools/Framework Good knowledge in Cucumber, Postman, Exposure to - Gradle/Maven, SpringBoot, Data Models - Json, XML, YAML, Tools GitHub, Jira, Ansible, Helm Concourse/Jenkins
• Networking domain knowledge
• Develop Test Cases for verification and validation of product functionality.
• Write and execute functional and regression test cases and test scripts for multiple projects to ensure the software follows specifications.
• Ability to analyze defects and provide root-cause analysis.
• Good analytical & debugging skills.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of solutions and continuous improvement.
• Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and improve software tests and overall quality.
• Working knowledge in Agile methodology Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, PI Planning, Daily Scrum etc
