Duration: 6 Months (may extend up to an additional two months)

**Job Description:**

Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at our State College, PA location. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting run-the-business activities, allowing our QA process owners to focus on integration tasks. This position is for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on project requirements.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Investigations:** Conduct thorough investigations into quality issues, defects, and discrepancies to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

2. **Corrective Actions:** Implement and oversee corrective actions based on investigation findings to ensure the resolution of quality issues and prevent recurrence.

3. **Supplier Defects:** Collaborate with suppliers to address and rectify defects, ensuring that quality standards are met consistently.

4. **Process Improvement:** Work towards continuous improvement of quality processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements where necessary.

5. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed and accurate records of investigations, corrective actions, and quality-related processes.

6. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall product quality.

**Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.

3. Strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies.

4. Ability to conduct thorough investigations and implement effective corrective actions.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

6. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.

7. Familiarity with supplier management and defect resolution.

8. Ability to work onsite in State College, PA.

9. Must have USC/GC visa status.

**Duration:**

This is a 6-month project with the possibility of extending for an additional two months based on project needs.
