We are hiring for a 2^nd line IT Technician to work for an established IT MSP based in Horsham, West Sussex.

The role will suit someone with experience of working at 1^st Line ready for the next step ideally within an MSP although this isn t essential.

The role will be based in the office in Horsham with free parking

REQUIRED SKILLS

Able to communicate effectively with users and senior management over the phone, through service tickets updates and face to face.

Take pride in problem solving and coming up with solutions.

Be comfortable in an adapting environment which changing priorities.

Enjoy working with people to get things done.

Organised, able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and deliver on many things at once.

Team-player who can also work unsupervised.

Have a full valid UK Driving Licence

Must have the right to live and work in the UK

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum one year experience in an IT Support based role.

Some experience with:

Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems

Microsoft 365 Administration

Connectivity Diagnostics

Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent knowledge of PC and Desktop hardware, including Desktops, Laptops, Printers & Multi-Function Printers.

Good networking knowledge with configuring Switches & Routers.

Comfortable using remote support software.

DESIRED SKILLS

Previous experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP)

IT Certifications CompTia A+, Network+, Microsoft or ITIL

The salary for this role is 25,000 to 30,000

Some flexibility with this for the right person
