Our client a global law firm is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global the Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients large and small from a variety of industries across the country 

 

The West Palm Beach office is looking for a junior to midlevel litigation associate to work in its securities litigation practice Candidates should have a minimum of years of litigation experience Experience with financial services and/or employment law is preferred Candidates should have stellar academics strong research as well as writing abilities and be barred in Florida In addition candidates should be interested in working in the office in a fastpaced and collaborative environment Interested candidates should submit their resume JD transcript and cover letter Transcripts do not need to be official copies

SKILLS AND ABILITIES Superior intellect and quick grasp of complex legal issues, as evidenced by superior grades in law school and/or work experience in similar settings. Strong work ethic and willingness to work as needed to get any task done. Good organizational and project management skills. Proficient in the use of on-line legal research services and legal resources. Superior legal writing skills. Excellent oral communication. Must have sound judgment. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field s concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively and as a member of a team with internal and external contacts. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and situations. Proven willingness to work hard in a fast-paced atmosphere. Experience with use of document/discovery databases (e.g. Relativity). EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING Must be a graduate of an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan or ability to obtain admission upon commencement of employment.
