Plant Engineer

Ability to coordinate, plan, and prioritize several projects at once.

Ability to provide engineering support for all personnel involved.

Problem-solving and follow-through skills.

Knowledge of Freon refrigeration systems and industry operations.

Knowledge of boiler systems.
.

Knowledge of PLCs.
.

Responsible for capital and expense projects.
.

Coordinates engineering projects with plant, management, and contractors.
.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of project engineering, project design, and project installation
up to and through startup of a project.
.

Oversee Maintenance Manager whose responsibilities include but are not limited to the management of maintenance
supervision and all maintenance employees, preventative maintenance, daily operational maintenance and manage
inventory of parts and supplies.
.

Manage labor, repairs, and maintenance expenses and outside contractor services.
.

Facilitate, through expansion, equipment and facility design or renovation, company goals and objectives for capacity,
productivity, and efficiency.
.

Continually strive to reduce facility and manufacturing operating costs by providing best option technical solutions
and/or utilizing best method analyses towards improving internal systems.

Qualifications:
.

BS Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field preferred.
.

5+ years technical engineering experience and management, in a plant manufacturing environment.
.

A working knowledge of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process production engineering.
.

Ensure all local, state, and federal laws are complied with including general OSHA standards to provide a safe
working environment.
.

Auto-Cad experience.

Physical Demands: Plant & Office conditions.
Work Environment: Office and plant environment. Must be available to work weekends.
