Job Description
A well-known non-profit is looking for an accountant to join their team! The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of GL accounting experience, has worked in a non-profit, has payroll/ADP experience, and has a Bachelors Degree in a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Collect data to prepare/analyze financial income and other accounting statements
- Perform monthly account analysis
- Reconcile cash and prepare journal entries
- Assist CFO/Controller with budgeting/ audit
- Prepare/Enter accruals
- Assist with month-end close
- Oversee Payroll/Benefits related data
- Help with the conversion to the new accounting system
- Process time sheets in ADP
- Payroll adjustments
- Distribute payroll checks
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of GL Accounting experience
- Non-Profit experience REQUIRED
- Payroll/ADP experience preferred
Requirements: Qualifax or Care Logix ERP experience is a PLUS!! At least 2 years Medical Billing Experience required Insurance claims and denial experience Ability to run your own reports with little supervision Strong communicator and a team player
