Health Information Management Manager

A well respected hospital is looking for a full-time permanent Health Information Management Manager to join their team! The hospital is located just outside of Escanaba, Michigan. This opportunity offers great benefits that include a $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus!

Annual Salary Starts at $70,000+, depending on experience.

Health Information Management Manager Opportunity:

• $70,000+, Dependent on experience
  
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekends
  
• No call required
  
• Responsible to oversee the Health Information Management Department and to create and maintain effective and efficient processes for all Medical Records functions including but not limited to coding, dictation, transcription, compliance, and filing.
  

Health Information Management Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in health information management or an Associate s Degree in Health Information Technology and experience commensurate with a Bachelor s Degree
  
• Valid and Up to Date Registered Health Information (RHIT) Certification or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Certification
  
• Minimum of 2 years managerial experience required
  
• Coding experience in CAH and RHC settings highly preferred.
  
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Health Information Management, Coding and HIPAA Privacy Rules.
  
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CAH coding and regulations required, knowledge of RHC coding and regulations preferred.
