Description:

Our client is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of litigation experience to join our growing team.

We are looking for candidates excited about taking on more responsibility. Candidates must have demonstrated consumer class action experience, with a plus if experienced with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state mini-TCPA laws, and automatic renewal laws. Preferred experience in other complex litigation areas, including consumer protection, unfair competition, and false and deceptive advertising. Familiarity with investigations and proceedings initiated by federal and state regulatory agencies, such as the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, is a plus.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on litigation experience and the desire to gain further responsibility and experience in areas such as handling discovery and litigation disputes, depositions, witness interviews, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, and managing cases on a day-to-day basis. Excellent legal writing and research skills are required.

The firm s consumer protection team collaborates across offices and industry sectors, providing an integrated and cohesive approach covering all legal implications from compliance to class action defense and handling insurance coverage issues.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience
