Job Description
Position: Sheet Metal Technician
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7.00 AM - 3:00 PM
Type: Full-Time Mode: Contract to Permanent
Pay: $17-$22

Perform Sheet Metal I duties including ability to perform 1-2 of the 3 primary functions of the sheet metal process. The position of Sheet Metal I requires the employee to perform 1-2 of the 3 duties (Lathe, Edge, and Spin)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Keep blank materials organized and maintain storage area by size and material
- Reading and filling out spec charts
- Knowledge of how to operate CNC Lathe (all products use of lathe cutting tool)
- Proper set-up and adjustments for machine set-ups
- Utilize proper backers for each SKU
- Know and perform the proper care of chisel
- Utilize proper size die for operation
- Make set-up adjustments using miscellaneous tools
- Know and perform the proper care of chisel
- Able to load program in machines/edit programs
- Make tool changes using horst

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 6 months to one year experience working with sheet metal.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, simple arithmetic involved and the carrying out of instructions; And the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required.
