ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to client deposits and accounts receivable.
• Makes bank deposits using remote deposit scanner.
• Assist with reconciling revenue and bank accounts on a regular basis.
• Work collaboratively with our employees and clients to identify and post payments.
• Communicate and verify banking information for our clients.
• Review receivables internal and external email correspondence and respond timely.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail including thoroughness and analysis
• Able to handle a large volume of activity
• Exceptional organization is necessary for this position
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years Accounts Receivable experience
