ENIOR ADVISOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - TORONTO
Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development, the Senior advisor business development primary role is to identify business opportunities and promote BMR Group in their assigned territory and market segments with a view to acquiring new customers and achieving the group s growth objectives. More specifically, the incumbent will:
Establish and develop a dealer network development strategy for their territory.
Seek out and identify new business opportunities, prospecting potential clients based on established objectives and in compliance with BMR Group standards.
Maintain and develop a business network by participating in various promotional activities and events, ensure BMR Group s visibility, and always promote the Group s image to generate business opportunities.
Closely follow up interactions with solicited clients.
Assist in the effective transmission of information required to finalize agreements.
Help integrate and support new dealers in delivering a turnkey customer experience.
Set priorities and timelines based on objectives and create a roadmap for activities to be accomplished.
Produce activity reports, analyses, and propose corrective measures to achieve BMR Group targets.
Monitor trends, opportunities, competitor activity and market developments
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in business administration, marketing or related
Business development experience, particularly in hardware, lumber and building materials, and/or renovation (any other combination of education and experience may be considered)
Good business sense and highly persuasive personality
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
Good knowledge of market trends in hardware, lumber and building materials and/or renovation
Valid driver s license
Own a vehicle, as this position requires travel
