Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse:

• Wound Care Nurse will serve as a clinical resource and consultant.
  
• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients based on current evidenced practice.
  
• Wound Care Nurse at this facility will be working side by side with wound care specific providers. This allows for a much less stressful environment and great amounts of collaboration with providers in many ways.
  
• This department is being brought back, which leaves an opportunity for this nurse to help develop the department alongside the providers.
  
• Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm. No Call! No Weekends!

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• BSN of an accredited School of Nursing.
  
• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse License or Compact State License.
  
• BLS Certification
  
• WOCN Certification
