Coverage Period: Dec 22 - 26, 2023
Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Shifts needed to be filled:
- Dec 22 - orientation
- Dec 24-25, 2023 (48-hr coverage)
Shift Schedule: 8a-8a
Patient Volume: 10-30 per day
Admissions: Yes; No pedia admissions
Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 Tech
Specialty Backup: Radiology, & Hospitalist
Beds in the Dept: 16
Responsibilities:
- Manages inpatient codes
- Responsible for patients on the off hours for admissions & following the patients on the floor in the Med/Surg area.
Trauma Level: III
EMR: Cerner
Other Info:
- Providers can call MC care to consult with a specialty physician.
- Laboratory available 24 hrs.
Temporary Privileges available: Yes
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active WI License or IMLC
BC/BE
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS (AHA)
