Job Description
Job Title: Director of Software Engineering Location: US - Remote A global leader in supply chain automations is searching for a Director of Software Engineering to guide and support 2 development teams that include a team lead and 3-5 developers per team. As well as delivering high quality code to support their custom software. This individual will need to be an expert in Python and have proficient experience in other systems such as: AWS, PostgreSQL and Ubuntu/Linux desktops Responsibilities: Enhance and debug Python applications. diagnostics and troubleshooting of existing systems to improve operational performance. work with Engineering and Product teams to enhance productivity Requirements: 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a proven track record of successful productivity 6+ years of recent relevant Python and related frameworks required. 5+ years of experience leading advanced development teams building complex systems with hardware system
