Join a leading Data Science consulting firm, is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to support our clients in creating robust and scalable cloud solutions. With a focus on data manipulation, infrastructure development, and data visualization, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a real impact.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will have the chance to tailor applications to our clients specific business goals using an iterative methodology. We value long-term stability and scalability while prioritizing a user-focused approach to development and deployment. If you have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical role, we want to hear from you!
To thrive in this role, you should have a mix of the following experiences:
- Certification in design or architecture for cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Deep expertise in compute, storage, networking, and security within cloud-based systems.
- Familiarity with serverless capabilities, such as AWS Lambda.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases native to cloud providers or third-party solutions.
- Proficiency in deploying data manipulation tools for analytics, such as AWS Glue.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like AWS Sagemaker or Google Vertex AI.
- Fluency in modern Object-Oriented Programming Languages, such as Python, Typescript, or Java.
- Understanding of user administration hierarchies using IAM technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelors/Master s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in a technical role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to parse project requirements, including asking questions to ensure full and correct understanding.
- Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and tools quickly.
