Job Description
Head Therapist – Salon - Full time
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: From £13.00 per hour(depending on experience)
Located in the historic Northgate area of Canterbury City Centre, this innovative award-winning hair and beauty business exudes both character and charm, providing treatment opportunities a world away from everyday life.
We are seeking a Head Therapist or Senior Therapist to join an incredibly talented team. As Head therapist you will play a crucial role in helping to manage and motivate the beauty team, exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional salon treatments to valued clients.
Responsibilities
• Manage and motivating the beauty team
• Strive to exceed personal and team sales targets and objectives
• Deliver a variety of salon treatments to clients
• Maintain stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Contribute to the development and implementation of salon policies and procedures
• Support the learning and development of therapists within the team
Working Hours
You will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Saturday, totalling 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening shifts, requiring flexibility.
Qualification and experience
To be a successful candidate, you should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and have a proven track record of service excellence in a salon environment. Previous experience as a Head or Senior Therapist is advantageous.
