Job Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative
Maintains up-to-date files for all clients assigned.
Manage the performance of direct reports. Work directly with BCBA to implement support/development plans and/or formal corrective action when necessary.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of clinical staff.
Maintain accurate documentation of billable tasks that meets the requirements of regulatory agencies and funding sources and is HIPAA compliant.
Track direct and indirect client sessions to ensure that services are provided to the full extent of the authorization for each client.
Conduct quality control processes for clinical treatment, schedule/cancellations, signage of hours, therapist performance, consistent data collection and more.
Assist the Scheduler/Client Care Coordinator in the process of assigning Behavior Technicians to treatment teams based on identified needs of clients and staff.
Responsible for completing additional administrative tasks as assigned by BCBA.
Create stimuli and order materials necessary for client programs.
Support staff in meeting productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget and providing efficient and effective service in all areas of performance.
Ensure all learning trees are up to date with current progress reports, FBA s, data collection, supervisor and BT clinical notes and feedback.
Oversee attendance/cancellations of behavior therapists assigned to client caseload.
Retrieves parent signature on all rendered services within 24 hours of service completion.
Provide regular performance feedback to Behavior technicians supervised related to their strengths and areas for improvement; work with Behavior Interventionists to set goals for professional development; conduct formal performance reviews of direct reports under the guidance of BCBA.
Clinical Responsibilities
Completes at least 80% of authorized hours for direct supervision and 95% of parent training hours.
Provide one-on-one supervision to therapist and case.
Provide one-on-one parent training on the case.
Provide therapist on case with supervision, guidance, and training in behavior analytic antecedent control procedures, teaching strategies and consequence interventions.
Ensure that program is being implemented correctly and consistently.
Collect accurate data that will be reviewed by a BCBA for Progress Report completion.
Meet with your BCBA once a month to review cases.
Provide direct therapy sessions to client if your behavior therapist is absent and is unable to provide the treatment session.
Complete competency checklists for behavior therapists monthly.
Growth and Development
Complete all required BCBA coursework and fieldwork necessary to sit for the BCBA exam.
Actively participates and/or provides trainings as needed in all quarterly trainings, skills lab meeting and supervision meetings with BCBA.
Attend conferences and participate in trainings to enhance knowledge and growth in the concepts and principles of ABA and their practical application.
Can regularly walk, stand, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, sit on the ground, and stand up from the ground or floor. Regularly kneel, crawl on the floor, sit in child-sized chairs, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may require running or otherwise moving quickly.
Exhibit manual dexterity to regularly enter data into a computer/tablet/phone; regularly use a computer/tablet/phone to view electronic screens.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Specific auditory abilities required by this job include perceiving the nature of sounds at normal to below normal speaking levels with or without correction, the ability to receive detailed Information through oral communication and to make discrimination in sound, spatial awareness of sounds and speech at a variety of volume levels, often in background noise.
Be able to speak in a professional manner with families and collegues
Be capable of driving a motor vehicle regularly.
Qualifications
Master s degree from an accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Completion of the 1st 5 ABA required courses in the Verified Course Sequence (BACB)
Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services to children with Autism.
Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
Experience supervising RBT/Behavior Technicians (Therapists) preferred.
Spanish speaking is highly desired, but not required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Solid technical skills and passion for quality service.
Organized and efficient, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Positive and professional team player.
Excellent interpersonal and social skills, able to connect easily with others.
