Job Description
Job Quick Facts:
Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Facility Location: Charleston, WV
Service Setting: Inpatient
Reason For Coverage: Supplemental
Coverage Period: Feb. 2, 2024 - Ongoing
Coverage Type: Clinical only
Shift Schedule: 50 hrs during the week
- With Sat & Sun
Patient Volume: 12-20
Patient Demographics: Neonates, Infants, (Peds), Adolescents.
Support Staff:
- Standard work week: 2 seniors, 2 interns, 2-3 students (Will supervise and round with the residents)
- If census is greater than 20, they will activate a 2nd attending only team.
Duties: Admissions, daily progress notes and DC with consultations available from subspecialties.
No. of Beds: 30
EMR: Epic
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
WV License/Willing to obtain
BC
PALS
Teaching hospital experience
Immunization/Vaccination proof
